- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5110, plans to procure on a sole source basis from Vnetek Communications, 20 N Wentworth Avenue, Londonderry, NH 03053 (D&B#036444990) the following: Item 0001: Qty; 5; FDDI Gateway, part number DVNFX-GW. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13). The closing date will be 30 October 2009 at noon; the anticipated award date is 05 November 2009. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. Electronic quote submission is encouraged to be submitted to alexis.carmack@navy.mil or via facsimile at (540) 653-4089.
