THE ASSEMBLY CONSISTS OF: CONNECTORS, WIRE, BOOT, SLEEVING, CABLE, SHIELD TERMINATOR. THE OVERALL LENGTH IS 24.00 INCHES. Requirements are MINIMUM GAURANTEED QUANTITY = 100 EA, MAXIMUM CONTRACT QUANTITY = 625 EA, CABLE ASSEMBLY, SPEC. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the HOWITZER 155MM M109. NSN 6150-01-522-0773, Part Number 12999091, The item to procure is a (W938) CABLE ASSEMBLY (6150-01-522-0773) F/M 109A6. THE ASSEMBLY CONSISTS OF: CONNECTORS, ADAPTERS, BOOTS, TRANSITION, SLEEVING WITH THREE BRANCHES, (96) & (36) & (60)INCHES LONG. Requirements are MINIMUM GAURANTEED QUANTITY = 60 EA, MAXIMUM CONTRACT QUANTITY = 500 EA, CABLE ASSEMBLY, SPEC. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the HOWITZER 155MM M109. Estimated issue date is 10 NOV 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capacity to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. In accordance with FAR 8.602, the supplies covered by this solicitation are determined to be products furnished by Federal Prison Industries (FPI). Notwithstanding the inclusion of any set-aside provision or clause in this solicitation, award may be made to FPI, even if this solicitation is subject to a set-aside provision. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
