Description

RECOVERY This Opportunity is available only to Contractors under the National Park Service (NPS) Design Build contract numbers: C1106080042 - Color-Ad, C1106080043 - Formations, C1106080044 - Mystic Scenic Studios, C1106080045 - Pacific Studios, C1106080046 - Split Rock Studios. The National Park Service intends to issue a Task Order under FAR 16.505(b)(1) Fair Opportunity. This notice is for informational purposes only and to meet the Recovery Act guidelines set forth when utilizing Recovery Act funding. The National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center intends to issue a task order to one of the multiple award IDIQ contractors listed above. This opportunity is only available to these Contractors. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This task order is being made against the current pre-priced contracts. The project is a design build project to plan, design, fabricate, and install interpretive media for Castle Williams located on Governors Island, New York Harbor, New York. This masonry fortification was constructed between 1807 -1811 as part of a large coastal defense program. The goal is to promote understanding of the continuum of history that occurred there. Building stabilization is underway. Design solutions need to provide a high degree of flexibility and take into account that electricity, heat, water, and utility service will not be available. The NAICS code is 339999 and Product Supply Code (PSC) Y292 applies to this procurement.
