Description

The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with Gallium Visual Systems for the purchase of 1 each Map Set Kit for AN/TPX-42A(V). This map set has been developed with FC1, FC2, and FC3 Shipboard Air Traffic Control (ATC) system configuration changes. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Section 6.302-1. Gallium Visual Systems is considered the only supplier, as they have sufficiently modified an existing commercial product to meet the needs of the Government. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Gallium Visual Systems owns the technical drawings, specifications, and data rights for this product group, the Government does not.
