- Request For InformationArmor & Load Bearing Team Individual Armor Industry Day - SHOT SHOW 2010 M67854-10-I-3003 Document Type: Sources Sought NoticeDocument Number: M67854-10-I-3003 Contracting Office Address: Marine Corps Systems Command, 2200 Lester St., Quantico Va. 22134-5010 Synopsis: Armor & Load Bearing Team, PM ICE (Infantry Combat Equipment), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is seeking potential sources, and best practice information towards designing, developing, and procuring Individual Armor. MARCORSYSCOM is particularly interested in previously unexamined, lighter weight, and innovative armor solutions equaling or surpassing current performance standards. Companies are expected to apply best practice human-factors, PPE Integration analysis and business analysis to meet the needs of Marines. Berry Amendment applies. Armor & Load Bearing Team, PM ICE, Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) will host an Individual Armor Industry Day on 19 January 2010, at The Trump Hotel Las Vegas, 2000 Fashion Show Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109. Individual sessions, held in a designated Board Room, will be from 0800 to 1600 on 19 January 2010 (last session will be at 1500). Sessions will not exceed forty five (45) minutes. The Industry Day is centered on a limited number of individual sessions during which companies in the Individual Armor Industry are able to discuss company-specific Individual Armor ideas and information. Appointments are on a first scheduled basis. Once schedule is full, any remaining requests may be accommodated by a future PM ICE Industry Day. All presentation items must be printed prior to arrival, as administrative support will not be available. No computers will be allowed to attach to the facility's visual projectors or visual aides. Companies wishing to make an individual session appointment for the Individual Armor Industry Day should register no later than 5 January 2010, 4:00pm EST, by contacting Ms. Erin Tucker at 703-432-3320 or email at erin.tucker.ctr@usmc.mil. Requests for individual appointment shall include company name, point of contact name, phone number, name and title of all attendees, and type of Individual Armor to be discussed. Individual session participation is limited to four (4) persons per company. Questions and or concerns may be submitted in writing to Andrew Fonda at andrew.fonda@usmc.mil with a Courtesy Copy to Major Amy S. Cahoon at amy.cahoon@usmc.mil and William (Bill) Carney at william.carney@usmc.mil prior to the Individual Armor Industry Day.
