- Notice of Interest for Government Lease Expressions of Interest Sought – Franklin County, Idaho The United States Department of Agriculture, USDA, currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease (which is expiring), in Franklin County, Idaho. The Government is seeking to lease approximately 4,506 contiguous rentable square feet (RSF) of office and related space. The lease term requirement is for 5 years with a (5) year lease renewal option at this location. The space must be available for occupancy immediately. The delineated area is bounded or affronted as follows: North-800 North Street -East-800 East Street South-800 South Street -West-800 West Street Other applicable requirements include: -Full-service lease (all utility, services, maintenance costs included in rent) -Parking – 15 on-site paved parking spaces in a lot under Lessor’s control that will also provide 2 pull through parking spaces for trucks and trailers The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement and market survey as basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis to determine whether to exercise its renewal option to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
