Description
U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends to award a contract to Chesapeake Mission Critical, L.L.C. for the purchase and installation of American Power Conversion. This sole source award is based under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Chesapeake Mission Critical, L.L.C. 11900 G Baltimore Ave, Beltsville, MD 20705. This requirement purchases the configuration APC 40KW Infrastructure frame populated to 20 KW(N+1) UPS from Chesapeake Mission Critical to use at the new DAU-S in Huntsville regional campus facility. The NAICS code is 238210 with a size standard of 7.0 million dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 10:00 am EST, 06 November 2009. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB.
