Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, anticipates negotiating and awarding a sole source contract with York Land Services, LLC located in Berlin, NH. This contract is for cadastral surveying services for the White Mountain National Forest in NH and ME. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for one base year and four option years that may be exercised at the discretion of the government. This contract will have a minimum guarantee of $5,000 over the life of the contract with a maximum contract ceiling of $500,000 over the five years. Pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program (FAR Part 19.10), projects considered in NAICS 541370 – Surveying and Mapping Services must be considered first for placement under the 8(a) Program, the HUBZone Program, and the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Procurement Program. Market research has determined that York Land Services is the only certified HUBZone business in the area that does work in NAICS 541370. Pursuant to FAR 19.1306 we plan to solicit and negotiate the award of this requirement to York Land Services, LLC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
