- Description
- The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research which will be used to formulate an acquisition strategy to support audiovisual services for the Combat Visual Information Center (CVIC). The Regional Contracting Office-National Capital Region (RCO-NCR) is requesting responses from all concerns. The qualifying code for this effort is NAICS 443112. The Combat Visual Information Center at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico, Virginia has a requirement for contracted commercial supplies and services to provide Christie Projectors, AMX Control Systems, sound systems (i.e. mics, amps), design, integration and installation services (including warranties and maintenance services) at various locations aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB), Quantico, VA. The Combat Visual Information requirement will include: (1) Capability to provide brand specific audiovisual equipment (i.e. Christie projectors and AMX Control Systems); (2) Capability to design audiovisual systems (small to complex); (3) Capability to perform integration and installation services (to include integration of various manufacturer's AV equipment into a reliable audiovisual system); warranties; upgrades and maintenance services, and; (4) Capability to provide source code. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed ten (10) pages, including cover letter and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance of the above program areas; (2) Notations of time to complete previous, similar efforts and a description of any quality processes applied; (3) Link to the respondent's GSA Schedule (if applicable), or attached file of same; and (4) Citation of any current, or past customers (i.e., within the past 2 years) to include contract number, point of contact telephone number or e-mail address. Response is due by 2:00 PM EST on Friday, 13 Nov 2009. Please submit e-mail responses to Carol Neely at e-mail address carol.neely@usmc.mil. NOTE: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. No solicitation documents exists at this time; however, in the event the acquisition strategy demonstrates that GSA is a viable option for procuring a solution, only those firms responding to this RFI and considered most capable shall be issued the resulting RFQ. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this RFI and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the Contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
