- Description
- The Ann Arbor VA Healthcare Center, 2215 Fuller Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105 intends to issue a solicitation requesting quotes to provide all personnel and equipment for the maintenance of three (3) Urine Analyzers to the John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VA), 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI, 48201. The equipment involved is: (1) Siemens ClinTek Atlas Urine Chemistry Analyzer, (1) Sysmex UF-100 Fully Automated Urine Cell Analyzer and (1) Siemens ADVIA Urinalysis Work Cell System. Contract period will be one year from date of award (approximately December 1, 2009) with four (4) one year pre-priced option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The total contract duration will not exceed 5 years. A complete Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on Fedbizopps on or about November 13, 2009. No hard copy solicitation will be provided. Solicitation documents may be downloaded electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov. Solicitation responses will be due on or about November 27, 2009. It is the intent of the VA to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 in conjunction with the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13. This procurement is not subject to set aside procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219. The small business size standard for this NAICS codes is $7 million dollars in average annual receipts.
