- Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (9 December 2009) - Fed Biz Ops Notice The Joint Project Manager for Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Contamination Avoidance (JPM-NBCCA) and the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Edgewood Contracting Division (ECD) are hosting an Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) for interested parties to be held on the following date: Date: 9 December 2009 Time: 1300 - 1600 hours EST Place: Chemical Material Agency (CMA), Chemical Demilitarization Training Facility (CDTF), Bldg. E4516, Assembly Room A, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010 At this briefing, the Government will describe the current and future chanllenges and requirements of the Joint Project Manager for Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Contamination Avoidance (JPM-NBCCA) customers. The goal of JPM-NBCCA and the U.S. Army RDECOM ECD is to inform industry of planned efforts on the following: " Next Generation Chemical Point Detection System " Dismounted Reconnaissance Sets, Kits, and Outfits; " Monitor and Survey Sets, Kits, and Outfits; " Joint Contaminated Surface Detector; " Chemical Biological Distributed Early Warning Strategy, and the Chemical Biological Mass Spectrometer. " Planned work for the Product Director, Test Equipment, Strategy, and Support will also be presented. The APBI will be Unclassified and is open to interested contractors, large and small businesses and universities. There is no attendance fee and the dress code is business casual. Please email Darius M. Kwiedorowicz (darius.kwiedorowicz@us.army.mil) with the following information: company name, number of attendees, address, email address, and phone number for each attendee. If the attendee is not a U.S. Citizen, please provide date of birth and passport number to get them onto APG. All international entrants must be vetted through the Foreign Intelligence Office to gain access to APG. If anyone is not cleared prior to entry on December 9, they will be turned away. So please be sure all non U.S. Citizens provide their information as soon as possible. Visitors entering APG who do not possess a valid Government Civilian or Military ID card must present identification in the form of a valid driver's license, car registration, proof of insurance and/or car rental agreement.
