- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND THE OFFER DUE DATE FROM 6 NOVEMBER 2009 TO 27 NOVEMBER 2009 05:00 PST. LOCATION : Stanislaus River Parks, San Joaquin County, Stanislaus County and Toulumne County, Oakdale, California. This Procurement shall be conducted under FSC CODE: S208, SIC CODE: 0782, NAICS Code: 561730. The size standard is $7 million. All questions shall be directed to the Purchasing Agent, Phyllis Charles, at (916) 557-5164, FAX: No.: (916) 557-7854, e-mail Phyllis.C.Charles@usace.army.mil. TYPE OF AWARD : This acquisition shall be 100% HUBZone Business set-aside Request for Quotation. JOB DESCRIPTION : Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supplies, licenses, permits, transportation and supervision necessary to chemically treat/provide for weed control services at nine (9) different recreational areas: Goodwin Dam, Two-Mile Bar, Knights Ferry, Horseshoe Road, Honolulu Bar, Orange Blossom, Valley Oak, Oakdale, and McHenry Avenue Recreation Areas. The counties include Tuolumne, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin for Stanislaus River Parks, Oakdale, California. Stanislaus River Parks is located in San Joaquin County, Stanislaus County and Toulumne County, Oakdale, CA. Prospective contractors are strongly urged to visit the site, To set up a site visit contact the Lake at (209) 881-3517 to become familiar with the location and the work involved. The period of performance is for a Base Year and Four Option Years. All Quotations are due not later than 27 November 2009 @ 5:00 PM PST. The acquisition method is Request for Quotation. Evaluation factors for award shall be as follows: Award shall be made to the responsible, compliant contractor whose quotation offers the best value to the Government based upon low price. VENDORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION : The solicitation shall be available on or about 22 October 2009. The Request for Quotation shall not be provided in hard paper copy. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition shall be posted on a secure Government web site known as FedTeDS. If you want all information concerning this RFQ you shall need to click on the box at the bottom called Register to Receive Notification. Access to the solicitation documents on the FedTeDS web site shall be via a hyperlink. The hyperlink shall be inserted into the notices for this acquisition posted on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website ( https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ ) and the FedBizOpps (FBO) web site ( www.fbo.gov ) once the solicitation is issued. The hyper-link shall not appear as a web site address, but as text as follows: Available online via the FedTeDS (Federal Technical Data Solution) web site. Viewing/downloading documents from FedTeDS shall require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration ( www.ccr.gov ). If you are a first-time FedTeDS user, you shall also be required to register in FedTeDS ( www.fedteds.gov ) before accessing the solicitation documents. To register, click on the Register with FedTeDS hyperlink, then select the Begin Vendor/Contractor Registration Process option.
