Description

RECOVERY - Develop accessible trail spur - FFS Project Number R6LA, TAS::14 1610::TASTHIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ISSUED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). The upcoming solicitation will be posted under full and open competition in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has an existing need for the design and construction of an accessible sampling deck with ramp off of an existing trail including rails, foundations, gravel bases, and reconditioning and seeding at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, Box Elder County, Utah. Construct the project in accordance with the approved USFWS design drawings and specifications. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The upcoming solicitation will be using NAICS code 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 20 November, 2009 with an anticipated closing date of 21 December, 2009. Copies of the solicitation, specifications, and drawings can be optained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance. All questions regarding subject requirement shall be submitted in writing to the USFWS, Attention Mr. Jerry Haines, P.O. Box 25486, Mail Stop 60181, DFC, Denver, CO 80225 or fax to (303) 236-4791. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
