- Description
- The purpose of Amendment 03 is to answer Industry Questions. Question: 1. Understand, my question is about section III. The statement: "The duration of effect shall be sufficient to prevent the emergence of combative individuals from mouse holes"....this implies some type of gas, or concussion sufficient to provide this affect. If so thisappears to rule out a single technology approach of visual disruption. Would this be a correct assumption? Answer: No, it would not rule out a single technology approach. If the proposed visual disruption technology has a sufficient duration of effect, and does not limit friendly forces from simultaneously accomplishing their clear a space mission, then it would be an appropriate technology consideration. Question: 2. Would techniques to improve the delivery of NLWs be considered or is this BAA (10-001) solely for RD&D of the NLWs themselves? Specifically we have an improved means of utilizing NLWs on a UGV in tight quarters. We do not know if this is within the scope of the BAA or not. Answer: Techniques to improve the delivery of NLWs would be considered as within the scope of the BAA.
