Description

RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LOG GULCH CG BOAT RAMP AND DOCKS LOCATED IN LEWIS & CLARK COUNTY, MONTANA.THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED FROM THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) (RECOVERY ACT) OF 2009.The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to issue a Information for Bids (IFB) ) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for demolition, salvage, excavation, grading, cofferdam installation, ramp and dock construction which includes dock abutments and foundation, base coarse, riprap, erosion control, and revegetation. Salvage and deliver existing dock sections to the Holter Dam facilities approximately ten (10) miles from the project site. Clean, excess, approved soil by the COR is acceptable for disposal at the Holter Dam facility. The work is located in Lewis & Clark County, Montana. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237990, with a standard size of $33.5M.The cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The anticipated period of performance is 250 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.This acquisition will be advertised on a non-restricted basis. This announcement serves as the advanced notice for the project. The Solicitation will be issued on/about November 23, 2009.
