Description
The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to CTS Services LLC, on other than full and open competitive basis, a contract for 1 each Labor and incidental materials necessary to: The contractor shall reclaim and dispose of refrigerant from the existing condenser and refrigerant piping for the existing 20 ton Liebert unit located at NRL Bldg A49. The contractor shall disconnect and relocate the existing three-fan condenser from the current location to the courtyard behind NRL Bldg97A. The contractor shall furnish and install approximately a two hundred foot run of four refrigerant lines from the indoor Liebert unit to the new location. The contractor shall recharge the system with the R-22 refrigerant. The contractor shall furnish and install Armaflex insulation on the hot gas lines. The contractor shall furnish and install pipe bollards around the condenser. The contractor shall check, test, and start up the system. This work shall only be done during normal business hours. On-Site visit required to the Naval Research Laboratory 4555 Overlook Avenue SW Washington, DC 20375. Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. Sole source based on a being compatible to CTS Services LLC. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
