Description
Managed Services Pharmaceutical draft Statement of Work (SOW) Section C Managed Services Pharmaceutical RFI This notice is being issued by GSA FEDSIM as a Request for Information (RFI) to perform market research in order to obtain industry comments regarding the anticipated structure of the final Request for Proposal (RFP) for Pharmaceutical Managed Services. The Government anticipates that the final RFP will be for a total period of 10 years. This 10 year period will be structured as a 5 year multi-year contract (iaw FAR 17.104) with 5 one-year optional periods. The Government, in order to maintain the health of the nation's people stores, manages, and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and medical equipment from sites located throughout the United States and its territories. GSA FEDSIM intends to solicit for Contractor support, on the Open Market utilizing FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition, for the storage of Government owned pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and medical equipment in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide all necessary expertise, labor, materials, and space to safely and securely, receive, store, stage, and prepare for shipment pallets containing these items. The Government requires two separately managed sites as follows: Site 1: Will be located in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. It will be used to manage ambient, refrigerated/freezer and Schedule III, IV, and V controlled products as well as equipment and related medical items. The Contractor shall manage up to 40,000 pallets of medical products at this site, broken out as 2,500 pallets refrigerated, 2,500 pallets frozen, and 35,000 pallets ambient. Site 2: Will be located in either the Chicago or Indianapolis area. It will be used to manage ambient pharmaceuticals and Schedule II, III, IV, and V controlled products as well as equipment and related medical items. No refrigerated/freezer products will be managed in this site. The Contractor shall manage up to 25,000 pallets of medical products at this site. Each site's managed services will be evaluated and awarded as separate contracts.
