NSN: 5360-01-382-6802 Part No: 12951020 Noun: Spring, Helical, Comp Set Aside: 100% Total Small Business FOB is Destination Requirements: Index spring is used on M16A4, M4 and M4A1; Matl is music wire,.0181 DIA. Solid height is.126 MAX; Appropriate length is.250 ref. This solicitation will result is a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The minimum guaranteed quantity is 90,000 ea. with a maximum contract quantity of 300,000 ea. The solicitation will be issued on or around 10 December 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais/ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. It is anticipated that award of this acquisition will not be based on price alone. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the offeror with the lowest price of the high rated (lowest risk) offer. See Section L and Section M of the solicitation, once posted, for additional information, Bidders are hereby notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the technical data package, all bidders are required to execute a nondisclosure agreement binding each bidder to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the nondisclosure agreement may be found as an attachment to the solicitation when the solicitation is issued on the web. An official authorized to legally bind the company must sign the nondisclosure agreement. Upon execution of the nondisclosure agreement, it must be returned to Ms. Mary Beth Lease by email mary.e.lease@us.army.mil or fax (309) 782-3813. Upon receipt of the signed nondisclosure agreement, the technical data will be mailed to your firm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation, and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal unacceptable and result in the rejection of the same.
