Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) has plans to award a delivery order for non-recurring engineering tasking necessary to satisfy up-to-date T-45C electrical load requirements. The task shall include all engineering changes to date, including Hot Section Reliability Improvement Program (HSRIP) and Virtual Mission Training System (VMTS) The prospective delivery order is for a period of performance of twelve (12) months. NAVAIR intends to award this effort as a sole-source procurement to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source). The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, systems integrator, and producer of the T-45 aircraft, thus the only firm that possesses the requisite knowledge to satisfy the pending requirement in the required timeframe.
