Description

The Western New York VA Medical Center, located in Batavia, NY, intends to award by sealed bidding for a project entitled "Batavia Ground Ambulance Service;" through full and open competition. The objective of this is to obtain 24 hour per day, 7 days per week/ 365 days per year ground ambulance service. Services provide pick-up and transport of veteran beneficiaries to and from their homes or nursing homes, between VA sites, or between any two sites designated by the VA, in the required performance area. This is a Sealed Bid Procurement. Offerors must have New York State Certification and Certification of Need. Sealed bids are due October 27, 2008 by 1:30 PM. All work shall be performed in accordance with solicitation documents. The IFB (VA-528-10-IB-0023) will be issued on fbo.gov on or around September 30, 2008. The solicitation will be issued subject to the availability of funds. Parties desiring to make an offer for this procurement must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov/ in order to be eligible for award. NAICS code is 621910 and the small business size standard is $7.0M.
