Description

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source award to SAS Institute, Inc. SAS Campus Drive, Cary, NC 27513. This proposed contract action is for SAS business analystic software, to support the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. This acquisition will be made under Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition. In accordance with FAR 6-301-1, unique supplies or services available from only one source. The Government intends to award a contract with a period of performance of November 1, 2009 thru October 31, 2010. SAS Institute is the sole source for new licensing of SAS Software in the United States. There is one authorized resellers of the software, but not for the renewal of license agreements. On going maintenance, license renewal and support of these products are only available SAS Institute. Inc. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 511210, for Software Publishers.
