Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is MANDATORY. Bidders must be present at the start of the Pre-Bid Conference as announced by the Contracting Officer on November 19, 2009 @ 12:00 p.m. (Noon). Bid opening - November 30, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at The Office of Surface Mining, 3 Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA. Direction to the site: From the Office of Surface Mining (OSM) take I-279 North to SR-28 North. Stay on SR-28 for about 24.5 miles and take the SR-356 exit toward Butler. Make a right at the top sign towards Butler. Stay on SR-356 for about 13 miles and turn right onto Kennedy Lane. Make a left onto Victoria Manor (unmarked drive). The house is at the end of the drive. The work performed under this contract will consist of: providing all equipment, labor plant power, equipment, and performing all operations in drilling grout holes; providing handling, transporting, storing, mixing, and injecting grouting materials; care and disposal of drill cuttings, waste water and waste grout; methane gas monitoring and venting if requested by the COR: cleanup, revegetation and restoration of the area upon completion of the work and all other such operations as are incidental to the program as specified herein. The purchase and delivery of materials to the site shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
