- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is FA8601-10-T-0059 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The 88th Contracting Squadron, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the following requirement: CLIN 0001: Quantity Three (3) - Milling Machine 3 Axis Vise, 0-90degrees Vert., 45 degrees Horiz. Travel, Jaw Width 4'', Jaw Depth 1 ½'' Bearing Surface.0012'' Sideway Parallel to base.0012'' Durable Polychromatic Finish High Tensile Alloy casting Quantity Two (2) - NMTB (National Machine Tool Builders Association standard) 40 Mill Holder Set Sizes 3/16'', 3/8'', ½'', 5/8'', ¾'', 7/8'', 1'', 1 ¼'', 1 ½'' Quantity Two (2) Each (Total of 8) - NMTB Mill Holders, Morse Taper (MT) Adapters 1MT inside 12.065 mm, taper 20.047:1 2MT inside 17.780 mm, taper 20.020:1 3MT inside 23.825 mm, taper 23.922:1 4MT inside 31.267 mm, taper 19.254:1 This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is under North American Industry Classification System code 333991 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
