Description

MOD - Changed Classification Code from K to 28. Changed NAICS Code from 811310 to 488190 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis with The General Electric (GE) Company, 1 Neumann Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215 for the technical support specifically related to the T-58 and T-700 engines currently installed on the VH-3D/VH-60N helicopters. Specific support includes providing on-site proficiency training, technical instruction and advice in the evaluation/resolution of unusual field problems. Acquiring the technical support from GE will provide maintainer personnel access to expert knowledge of GE Engines and ability to obtain technical advice to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems in a timely manner.
