- Description
- The United States Air Force, 6th Contracting Squadron, is seeking sources for a contemplated contract for the US Central Command (USCENTCOM) Intelligence and Operations Center, Resources and Requirements Division, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for Information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses capable of providing the services as described herein. The 6th Contracting Squadron is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Should a future requirement(s) evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated the period of performance will be a one year base year of 12 months from date of award with four (4) 12 month option years for a total of 60 months. For purposes of this RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services and the small business size standard is $35.5M. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, general and specialized tools, materials, cleaning supplies, sprays, disinfectants, hand towels, toilet paper, toilet seat covers, and soap, vehicles and fuel, personal protective safety equipment, supervision, and services not provided by the government necessary to perform engineering and facilities support services and functions as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), at MacDill AFB, FL. The contractor must perform to the standards in this contract. The desired outcomes of the contractor's efforts for this requirement are: (1) Facilities are fully operational to meet JICCENT mission requirements (2) Utility and infrastructure systems are fully operational to meet JICCENT mission requirements (3) Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural systems are maintained by properly trained, certified and experienced individuals (4) Efficient and cost effective maintenance of property, facilities, systems and equipment (5) Maintenance and custodial programs meet the needs of the organization (6) No environmental violations or regulatory actions against the base (7) Continuity of services during transition-out periods of performance The JICCENT is a high security, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility(SCIF)as part of USCENTCOM. Any contract employee or subcontractor working this requirement without the TS-SCI clearance must be escorted at all times by authorized escorts and will have no access to certain areas. The contractor is responsible for all escorts. If your firm has an interest in proposing on the requirements described above, please provide a Capability Statement to Mr. Joseph Powell, joseph.powell02@macdill.af.mil. No later than 3:00 p. m. EST, 18 Nov 2009. The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experiences in contracts requiring similar efforts. Interested parties shall not submit more than 10 single-sided, type-written pages using 12-point type or larger. Published literature may be any number of pages. Request Capability Statements include the following: 1. Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, NAICS code, GSA schedules held, company size (small, large business); if small, indicate type (8(a), SDVOSB, small disadvantaged business, HUB Zone, minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned, etc.). 2. Demonstrate ability to provide employees with skills referenced above and TS-SCI clearance to include ability to acquire and retain cleared personnel.. 3. Past/Current Performance Background as it relates to the requirement as outlined in this RFI, to include: a. Contract identification number(s) b. Title and a brief summary of the objective of the effort c. Contracting agency or Company (Government or commercial) with Phone Number/Point d. Value of the contract(s) e.
