- Description
- FOR ANY INFORMATION CONTACT: William Whitaker at: 732-427-0882. The system should be an overt, covert, day/night, wireless, multi-camera package that provides continuous and overlapping coverage of Noted Areas of Interest. The system is a rapidly deployable, wide-area surveillance system that allows users to position video sensors in areas requiring persistent target observation. The systems wireless backbone should provide a 15km radius to multiple deployed sensors and remote control sites. Wireless sensors will operate from either conventional visual surveillance in remote or sensitive areas. The system will use both covert and overt camera sensors, operating at either visible or IR wave-lengths, for both day and night coverage. The systems will have a self-contained wireless backbone network which incorporates a freestanding 120-foot portable tower, a Divisional Command and Control center with large-format displays, three remote Brigade-level command and control consoles, and multiple remote wireless camera sensors. Its sensors capability is integrated into the Persistent Surveillance and Dissemination System of Systems (PSDS2). The system should be staffed by contractor personnel trained to maintain, and repair the system, with reach-back support to Continental United States (CONUS) available 24/7. A fielding team must deploy into theater 45 days before systems are scheduled for delivery. The 45 day period does not account for pre-deployment requirements to include but not limited to CRC, training, and testing. The crews are required to be annually certified as operators of all equipment. A system integration lab (SIL) which will aid in troubleshooting problems shall be set up at the contractors facility.
