Description
SUPPORT VESSEL FOR OIL TERMINALS 1.Vessel(s) Required: US or foreign flag vessel with a maximum length overall (LOA) of 200 feet to provide logistics support to the oil platform, Khawr Al Amay Oil Terminal (KAAOT) and the oil platform, Al Basrah Oil Terminal (ABOT), from the port of Ash Shuaybah, Kuwait. The contractor will be responsible for all consumables required for the operation of the logistics support vessel. Minimum cruising speed required is 10 knots. The contractor shall be responsible for the receipt, loading, and unloading of materials and stores both shore-side and at the Oil Terminals. Certifications. The vessel shall have current certifications by the appropriate agencies in the country in which the vessel is flagged. These certifications cannot expire during the period of hire. Cargo Dimensions. The vessel shall be capable of: Transporting a minimum of 90 tons of deck cargo with a minimum of 900 square feet of contiguous clear deck space including enough deck space for 15 pallets of stores. Transporting a minimum of 30 personnel in air conditioned accommodations. Transporting a minimum of 5,000 gallons of diesel marine fuel and pumping fuel into storage tanks 100 feet above the water line. Transporting a minimum of 5,000 gallons of potable water and pumping water into storage tanks 100 feet above the water line. Transporting trash from the KAAOT and ABOT to the Mainland.Transporting a 900 gal MOGAS SIXCONX fuel bladder. Responsible for cold storage of food products when necessary during transport. Working with other government contractors to help coordinate the loading of any cargo deemed necessary for ABOT and KAAOT. 2. Place/Range of Delivery: Ash Shuaybah, Kuwait - Northern Arabian Gulf 5.
