Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Center of Excellence at Canandaigua intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with the National Foundation Center For Disease Control And Prevention Inc DBA CDC Foundation, 50 Hurt Plaza Ste 765, Atlanta, GA 30303-2915 to support the Center of Excellence at Canandaigua by coordinating and supervising state-level participation in the approved Veteran's Mental Health Module. As part of this process, the CDC Foundation will identify collaborating states and territories, negotiate implementation costs, transfer financial support to participating states, and provide continued administrative support during the project period. Details on implementation and construction of the analytic data file will be reported by Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System BRFSS representatives directly to the project coordinator at the Center of Excellence at Canandaigua. Interested parties may identify their experience in providing this service to the Contracting Officer via e-mail to mary.betker@va.gov. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received not later than 4:00 PM November 20, 2009.
