- NRD Janitorial Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, AZ, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for janitorial services. The proposed services will be done on the Nogales Ranger District administrative buildings in Nogales, AZ. Contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform janitorial services on one administrative building and one warehouse building. Anticipate awarding base year plus two option years. Cumulative price range is between $25,000-$50,000. The contract shall be performance based commercial item contract with a firm fixed price. Award will be based on best value to the Goverment upon evaluation of price and past performance. The estimated start work date is January 4, 2010. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, ATTN: AQM, 300 W Congress, Room 5F, Tucson, AZ, 85701, by FAX to (520) 388-8332, or by email to ebaca@fs.fed.us by close of business Thursday, December 10, 2009. NOTE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36, effective August 11, 2009. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720 and the size standard is 100 employees. Quotes must include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, paragraphs (c) through (m). If the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at orca.bpn.gov, submit only paragraph (b) from the provisions and a DUNS number. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items is applicable with the following factors used to evaluate quotes: Price, technical conformity to specifications, and ability to meet delivery date. The following clauses are incorporated by reference and can be downloaded in their entirety at arnet.gov/far: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items; FAR 52.203-6 Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government; FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003), proof of contractor registration in CCR required before the Government can effect an award; FAR 52.219-8 Utilization of Small Business Concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Forest Service. The offer/quote that is most advantageous to the Government, based on the factors contained in this synopsis/solicitation, will be selected for award.
