- Description
- The International Fleet Support Program Office, PMS326, will host an Industry Day at the Naval Sea Systems Command 1333 Isaac Hull Ave. SE, Washington Navy Yard, DC. in support of an anticipated Request for Proposals (RFP) to support the FMS Supportability Program. The Industry Day will be conducted in Room 3W-1603, Bldg. 197 from 0930 to 1130 on Tuesday, 1 December 2009. A presentation providing general information regarding the program will be given by a number of key personnel. There will be a brief time allotted for questions and answers. RFP specific questions will not be entertained in this venue. General questions regarding the program, it's history and direction may be submitted. It is anticipated that the PCO or a representative will be available to address appropriate contracting questions. Other questions or comments may be submitted to Tara Borntreger at e-mail tara.borntreger@navy.mil., or the contracting officer Timothy Starker, timothy.starker@navy.mil. The FMS Supportability Program Industry Day presentation will be held in a room with limited conference space, therefore prospective offerors are requested to limit the number of attendees. Our guests are also requested to RSVP their intention to attend to Mr. Michael Williams, (202)781-0943, e-mail leonard.m.williams@navy.mil. As part of your response please provide the names of the individuals from your organization who will be attending. For those without NAVSEA Contractor Badges, please include an official Visit Request. This is to facilitate gaining access for the attendee to both the Washington Navy Yard and the NAVSEA Headquarters building. Directions will be provided after attendance is confirmed. In addition, NAVSEA wishes to provide potential offerors an advance opportunity to identify potential organizational conflicts of interest as set forth in the Section L clause of the draft RFP entitled "NOTIFICATION OF POTENTIAL ORGANIZATIONAL CONFLICT(S) OF INTEREST (NAVSEA) (JUN 1994)", and submit mitigation plans if necessary so that any issues which may arise can be addressed as early in the acquisition process as possible, in accordance with the guidance at FAR 9.504.
