- Description
- This contract is for the reclamation of the Vollmer Subsidence emergency project located at 341 McCutcheon Lane, Penn Hills, Allegheny County, PA. The work under this contract is to fill the mine and overburden below the front yard and driveway areas at the project location with predominantly a sand and fly ash grout mixture. The project involves the stabilization of mine workings at an approximate depth of 15 feet below the ground surface. An estimated 4-6 borings will be required to encounter the void. The contract will consist of: 1) mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's labor, equipment and materials; 2) drilling and casing of bore holes; 3) injection of grout material; 4) site restoration; and 5) replacement of concrete pads. The estimated cost range is under $50,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5M. A PREBID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON 11/24/09 @ 10:00 AM. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE TO MEET AT THE PROJECT SITE LOCATED AT 341 McCUTCHEON LANE, PENN HILLS, PA 15235. Bids will be opened on December 1, 2009. An original hard copy of the completed and signed IFB along with completed Section K Reps and Certs and AML Contractor Information Form are due at the depository in 3 Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 on December 1, 2009 @ 2:00 pm. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov.
