- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, requires Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Design and/or Construction services for standard design dining facilities for U.S. Army posts in the Southeast region. This is a RESTRICTED PROCUREMENT set-aside for HUB Zone business concerns only. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220 with a size standard of $33,500,000. The proposed contract has a not-to-exceed value of $16,000,000 over the life of the contract, and will be awarded to one (1) contractor. This is a Best Value Source Selection procurement. The seed project is for the Design and Construction of a 500 PN Permanent Party Dining Facility for the Warriors in Transition Complex at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The contract is performance based, and not definitive in type of construction or materials unless otherwise indicated. The contract shall include minor site work to integrate with the site contractor, facility design, overall building construction, complete interior finishes, and attached equipment. A comprehensive interior design is required with an option to provide furniture and dcor items. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Construction of the facility must be completed within 540 calendar days, including option items. The solicitation document will be available on/about December 2, 2009 via http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The proposed solicitation number is W91236-10-R-0005. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
