Description
THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (PUBLIC LAW 111-5) (RECOVERY ACT). This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside. As a result, only SDVOSBs shall be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238210, and has a size standard of $14.0 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work for this requirement consists of, but is not limited to: All supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete all work required for Project #546-09-601 Recovery Act - Replace FCA Chilled Water Valves at the Bruce W. Carter, VA Medical Center, 1201 NW 16th St. Miami, FL 33125 is strict accordance with the terms and conditions specified within the solicitation. This includes: Identification of the valves to be replaced/capped and the provision of a detailed proposal (no lump sum items) and completion schedule for review and approval with alternates as specified in solicitation. The successful firm must have previous experience with similar size and scope of construction projects with particular emphasis on hospital construction. Award will be a firm fixed price contract and the procurement method will be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposal (RFP). Source Selection Procedures as identified in FAR PART 15.3 will be utilized in the selection of a firm offering the best value to the Government in terms of Past performance, Qualifications and Experience of Key Personnel and Price. The Period of Performance is expected to be one hundred twenty (270) days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. This project will require bonding. Be advised that all bidders must be registered and verified in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to participate; offerors that are not registered will be rejected.
