Description
RFI, Atch 3, DRAFT PWS RFI, Atch 2, To Be RFI, Atch 1, App C ANG RFI, Atch 1, App B AD RFI, Atch 1, App A AFR RFI, Atch 1 Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, AFRISS-TF Program Management Office is seeking information from industry regarding approaches and related risks associated with migrating an existing data base system (Air Force Recruiting Information Support System) employed by Active Duty Air Force Recruiting Services and by the Air National Guard, into another existing data base system (Air Force Recruiting Information Support System-Reserve) employed by Air Force Reserve Recruiting Services. Both systems apply an Oracle 10g database. Once combined into one system (AFRISS-R being the baseline), the new system will be known as Air Force Recruiting Information Support System-Total Force (AFRISS-TF). The intent of this RFI is to provide the AFRISS-TF Program Management Office with market research and insight to help assess the capability of available technologies, and the long-term visibility of potential approaches and solutions to integrate the two systems indicated above into the AFRISS-R baseline with subsequent limited sustainment of the new system. The solution must support a secure system, applying Business Rule Information Management (BRIM) to create, amend and adjudicate information on applicants seeking entry into the Air Component. In addition, the new system must be able to produce a myriad of reports, and provide and receive data to and from other external agencies. This RFI should not be construed as a commitment by the Air Force, Air National Guard, or the Air Force Reserve to issue a solicitation or to ultimately award a contract. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kinds of offers will be considered in response to the RFI. This RFI is in no way binding to the government. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information will be used to facilitate acquisition planning; any proprietary information will be handled accordingly. The determination of an acquisition strategy, based upon comments submitted by interested parties in response to this RFI is solely within the discretion of the government. The NAICS Code 541512, Computer System Design Services, is subject to change based on market research and input from industry to the Program Office.
