Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Salisbury North Carolina has a need for Inpatient Dialysis Services. The contractor shall provide continuous 7 days a week, 24 hours per day on call coverage for hemodialysis services at the bedside of acutely ill patients in the W.G. Bill Hefner Salisbury VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall provide properly trained, fully certified and non-physician personnel, who may include but is not limited to North Carolina State Licensed Registered Nurses, Licensed practical Nurses and dialysis technicians Monday through Sunday. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 621492. Size Standard is $13.5 Million. Contract period will be Date of Award through September 30, 2010 with two (2) one year renewable option years. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. Solicitation packages will be available on or about November 18,2009. Proposals will be due on or about December 4, 2009. No hard copy solicitations will be provided. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov.
