- The Army Contracting Command Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, on behalf of the U.S. Army ARDEC is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources that have the capability to design support equipment, repair, perform maintenance, installation and installation support, replacement and refurbishment of equipment, supply parts and material, and provide technical support for Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) controls. The services to be performed will entail parts supply, installation and installation support, disassembly and assembly, utility connects and disconnects associated with the IPE to include electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems applicable to the specific equipment and controls. Capable sources must have the capability to provide all labor, materials and equipment for the complete installation of IPE, IPE installation support, supply of IPE critical parts & materials, related IPE electrical work, repair of IPE, and technical support for explosive engineering and IPE located in the explosive processing areas at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. IPE related electrical work shall be performed by an electrical contracting firm that possesses a valid New Jersey State electrical contractors license and the appropriate business permits. Capable sources must be able to respond within 7 days after receipt of a request for maintenance and/or repair call of above mentioned equipment. Capable sources must also have knowledge of the following Army regulations on Explosive Operations and Explosive Equipment: DA PAM 385-64, dated 1999; AMC-R 385-100, dated 1995. Interested sources are encouraged to submit information to support capabilities in regards to the above mentioned work. The Government will accept written questions by email. This is a market survey to be used for informational planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is the Government obligated to issue an RFP. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. The government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
