Description

DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to The Nature Conservancy in Jacksonville, FL for developing expert workshop protocols for the USGS ecological carbon assessment and monitoring project to be delivered to U.S. Geological Survey, 12201 Sunrise Valley Dr. by 09/30/2010. There are no option periods for this requirement. The Nature Conservancy is the only known source for this requirement because TNC possesses the unique knowledge and capabilities that will enable the USGS complete the requirements outlined in the EISA legislation. The TNC has extensive experience and resources that have been essential to other USGS national scale projects. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: abenton@usgs.gov.. The NAICS code is 813312 The anticipated award date of the contract is 11/23/2009. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. See Numbered Note 22
