Request For Information # 1 Question: We would like to request additional information regarding the requirements for portfolio examples required under evaluation criteria 1 and 4: Please clarify if the example projects are required to have been constructed or if projects where design is complete but construction has not commenced may be included. Answer: The requirements for portfolio examples required under evaluation criteria 1 and 4. The projects are required to have been designed and constructed. Completed projects. Question: The above solicitation reads as follows: PROJECT: Recovery Act 2009 project for A/E Services for the Design of the new San Juan FBI Field Office BUILDING TYPE: New Federal Building for the San Juan FBI field offices and Child Care Center (New Construction). CLIENT AGENCY: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) SIZE: 240,000 GSF PARKING SPACES: 358 structured parking 399 surface parking spaces. BUDGET: 120,000,000 GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATION: 20% in Puerto Rico What does "GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATION: 20% in Puerto Rico" mean? Does it mean that 20% of the design has to be performed by Architectural and/or Engineering firms established in Puerto Rico? Answer: Yes, A/E firms are advised that at least 20% of the level of contract effort must be performed in Puerto Rico in which the project is located.
