- ISSUE DATE: 07 December 2009. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal required for Roof Replacement at USCG Housing Units, Beverly, MA and Bedford, MA. The solicitation includes a Base Bid and three (3) Optional Bid Items. The Base Bid is for the replacement of the roofs and furnace vent pipes at 16 Coast Guard housing units in Beverly, MA, including the replacement of aluminum coil stock at the existing fascias and rakes and removal of asbestos containing roof cement. Optional Bid Item 1 is for the re-roofing of six (6) identical housing units at Bedford Housing (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 Michelsen Lane). Optional Bid Item 2 is for the re-roofing of five (5) identical housing units at Bedford Housing (1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 Lewis Road). Optional bid Item 3 is for the re-roofing of four (4) identical housing units at Bedford Housing (33, 35, 37, and 39 Pine Hill Road). The estimated cost range of this project, including all optional bid items, is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 7 December 2009. The tentative date set for bid opening is scheduled for January 7, 2009 at 2:00 pm. The applicable NAICS code is 238160 and the size standard is $14.0 million. Estimated performance time is 255 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This performance time applies only if award is made for the Base Bid and all Optional Bid Items. Optional Bid Items each have a 30 calendar day performance time if exercised after initial contract award is made. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14 and is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
