Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District Contracting Division, Pursuant to FAR Part 6.302-1(c) and in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), intends to award a sole source procurement to Vosta. Inc, 998 Gold Ridge Rd, Sebastopol, CA 95472, in that only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract under FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The requirement calls for the total breakdown/evaluation and refurbishment of a quantity of one (1) VL 550 SW Complete Shaft and Bearing Assembly. This requirement will bring the shaft and bearing assembly back to a new condition and will provide a renewed warranty of the equipment. Interested parties are encouraged to submit Statements of Capability for future procurement needs. The Capability Statement shall include at a minimum: informational brochures, published technical specifications, third party performance verification, company name, address, telephone number, facsimile number, type of business (large or small), and point of contact. The Government will not award a contract based on any Statements of Capability received. If you are an interested offeror, please provide a brief Statement of Capability (no more than 10 pages) which demonstrates the ability to meet the requirements specified in the above statement of work, and include any Past Performance information on Government contracts of similar size and scope. Electronic responses are preferred and telephonic requests for information will not be honored. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
