- Description
- Modification 03: This is a modification to subject solicitation posted in FEDBizOpps on 02 November 2009. Opening date and time remains unchanged as 20 November 2009; 2:00 PM CST. This modification is issued to answer questions pertaining to this solicitation and provide general administrative information concerning acknowledgement of amendments. Questions related to the solicitation follows. Question 1). The outside cooling towers are not listed specifically in the scope. You can tell that they are all in need of a PM. What do you want to do about this? T&M after the contract is awarded or an option in the bid? Question 2). I checked some of the chemical treatment supply tanks for the towers and they look like they have not been taken care of either. Should these be listed as a separate item? They are also not in the scope. Question 3.) In building 3902, the plate to frame heat exchanger is not listed in the scope. Do you want this on the PM also? The ANSWER to all three (3) questions follow: The cooling towers, heat exchangers, water treatment and water treatment equipment are not included in this requirement. The DPW shops are tasked with the preventative maintenance and upkeep on the cooling towers and equipment and water treatment; these tasks are not a part of this requirement. However, the requirement does require the contractor to list in his reports any abnormal conditions or problems that are observed in the work area or equipment that might affect the chillers or the performance of the chiller maintenance contract. NOTE THAT ALL AMENDMENTS MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED BY BIDDERS; THIS CAN BE DONE BY SIMPLY STATING THAT ALL AMENDMENTS HAVE BEEN ACCESSED, READ, AND UNDERSTOOD. All documents can be downloaded at https://doc.campbell.army.mil. NAICS is 811310; business size is $7.0M; acquisition is 100% setaside for Service Disabled Veterans Small Business Concerns. Complete Statement of Work and associated documents can be downloaded at https://doc.campbell.army.mil under subject Solicitation Number.
