Description

RECOVERY – THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY This opportunity is available only to the contractors under the existing Multiple Award Task Order Contract established by the Forest Service. The basic Multiple Award Task order Contract was competed and awarded for Road Maintenance contracts within the Coronado National Forest in Arizona. This task order is for the installation of engineered grade-controlling permanent weirs in creeks located in the Coronado National Forest. Use of interlocking sheet steel piling segments of pre-cut length is planned. These weirs will require excavation of a trench deep enough to seat the majority of the sheet piling length, both to prevent scour from exposing more than half the pile length and also to limit the exposed drop-off that the weir presents adjacent to the road. It is expected these weirs will be installed at approximately eleven locations throughout the forest. One fixed-price award in the form of a Task Order is expected to result from this solicitation. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS REQUIREMENT IS TO BE AWARDED TO AN EXISTING FOREST SERVICE CONTRACT HOLDER.
