Description

THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The Forest Service, EROC-NW, Region 6 has a requirement for culvert, bridge and fish ladder work on the Olympic National Forest, Washington. PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Work involves removal of existing box culvert and fish ladder, construction of a new bridge and stream simulation acquatic organism passage channel, including excavation, reconstruction of the approach roadway, importing stream bed material, placement of woody debris, haul of excavated material and seeding and mulching. The intent of this contract is to provide for the complete project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. SOLICITATION: The Solicitation will be posted on this website - on or after DECEMBER 4, 2009. PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located on the Pacific Ranger District, of the Olympic National Forest, Sections 19, Township 21 N,R 9 W, near Humptulips,WA. It may be reached by traveling North from Hoquiam WA on HWY 101 for approximately 24 miles to Forest Service Road No. 220000 (Donkey Creek Road). Turn right from HWY 101 onto Forest Road 2200000, proceed on that road for approximately 3.7 miles to the project. PARTICIPATION. This project is expected to be issued as FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. SITE VISIT: A site visit is not expected to be held unless there is enough interest to have one. REGISTRATIONS.
