Description
SPM4A6-10-R-0250, IQC093220009012: Solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity contract, firm fixed price contract for NSN 5855-01-297-7847-Browpad Assy, Thick. The end application for this item is Night Vision Goggles. This NSN is procured as fully competitive in accordance with a military/federal specification/standard and /or voluntary industry standards. Contractor first article test applies. Pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 16,344 EA for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 4,086 EA. The Maximum Contract Quantity is 32,688 EA for the base and option years. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 4,086 EA/16,344 EA. Solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside under the procedures of Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources. IQC is for DLA-Direct delivery to DDJC and DDSP. Per market research, item is not commercial in nature. FOB is Destination,Inspection/Acceptance is at Origin. Quantity Variance is plus 0% or minus 0%. Required delivery is 105 days ARO. Solicitation will not contain progress payments. NSN does have MWR surge requirement of 1204 EA. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. These items are not a Critical Safety Item (CSI), per a SAP interrogation on November 18, 2009. The solicitation will be issued on December 3, 2009 with a closing date of January 11, 2010. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the Business Systems Modernization DLA Internet Bid Board System http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
