- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences Corporation, 800 Centennial Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08855-1327, for the following line items: 1) Catalog #13681001, (S)AKTAFPLC without Frac with Laptop Control Unit; 2) Catalog #18117740, FRAC-920 Fraction Collector; 3) Catalog #11001170, Flow Diversion Valve FV-923; 4) Catalog #17106901, Hiload 16/60 Superdex 200 PR; 5) Catalog #17516701, Mono Q 10/100 GL; 6) Catalog #17517401, Superdex 75 10/300 GL; 7) Catalog #17517501, Superdex 200 10/300 GL; and Catalog #17106801, Hiload 16/60 Superdex 75 PRE. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR A COMMERCIAL ITEM PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE SOLICITATION; A SEPERATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy the Agency's requirements. No solicitation is being issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which, if received by the response date, shall be considered by the Agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
