Description
The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for 1 each Drilling Mud Cleaning/Recycling System with a multifunctional linear motion shaker, self contained, trailer mounted, electrically powered. Contact jstevenson@usgs.gov or (916) 278-9344 for the solicitation document. Closing date is 12/21/2009. New items only. No rebuilt, refurbished or used items. Total Small Business Set-Aside. System shall be in accordance with the following specifications:MULITFUNCTIONAL LINEAR MOTION SHAKER: Dual deck to handle 2 simultaneous flows. Top deck handles desilter cones and bottom deck works as a primary scalper. Each deck shall have 3 screens with 28ft^2 surface area. Complete shaker will have a total surface area of 56ft^2. Vibrator motors will be 460volt, 3phase @ 60 Hz and have sealed pre-lubricated bearings. Unit will generate 5 G's minimum. Screens will use a wedge mounting system for easy installation and removal and be the angle shall be adjustable while in operation from +5 to -2 degrees. DESILTER: Handles 500gpm using 6 @ 5" cones supplied by a 20hp 4x3x13 sealed bearing centrifugal pump. Mounted above upper shaker deck. Includes pressure gauge. MUD HOPPER: High shear, low pressure style. 4" plumbing with 1" venture nozzle connected to centrifugal pump.MUD GUNS: 4 low pressure guns with 3" plumbing and " nozzles for agitation of mud. CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS: 3 pumps @ 3"x4"x13". One will supply cones (20hp), one for hopper/mud guns (15hp), and the other (15hp) will serve as a charge pump. All are 460v 3-phase.PICKUP/TRASH PUMP: 10hp pickup pump for discharge pit. Will be remotely controlled and direct mud/cuttings to scalper. GENERATOR/ELECTRICAL: Minimum 80KW enclosed genset. Engine shall be or meet tier 3 emission standards.Control Panel shall have manual circuit breaker, internal breakers for control circuitry, outside lighting, and 110v 1 phase 15amp for auxiliary outlet. Motor Controllers for shaker motors, desilter pump, charge pump, hopper/mud gun pump, remote start/stop, and pickup/trash pump.Charge pump shall have an extension cable with start/stop for remote operation.Lighting of unit shall include complete lighting of upper deck (shakers, control panel, hopper, and walkways) and lower deck over pumps and genset area. TANK AND SKID: 3000 gallon, 2 compartment (clean/dirty) tank. Tank shall have walkways above with railing surrounding the unit. All plumbing will be installed and connected so unit is turn key. Tank will be sandblasted then power coated and baked to cure paint. Ladder with hand rails for safe access to upper deck. Handle on front uprights of unit for use with steps on trailer.TRAILER: Heavy duty, 3 dual wheel axle, air brakes, pintle hitch with DOT lighting. Steps on both sides for safe access up to trailer deck with handle on skid upright.PAINTING: All steel surfaces shall be professionally painted.
