- This is a sources sought notice. This announcement is for market research and preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted in response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. The U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) has a possible requirement to acquire services to support Treasury operations which involves various levels of assistance related to congressional correspondence, space management, administrative support, contract management, as well as other program areas. The requirement may include the following types of activities,: • Scan, file, and organize documents; • Review, prioritize, and draft responses to incoming correspondence for OFS review/approval; • Provide project support services including task management, drafting and monitoring project schedules, monitoring and reporting on weekly metrics, and drafting various project support documents; • Other tasks specifically related to program/project support. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential interest and capabilities and qualifications of prospective offerors for this requirement. Treasury is particularly interested in understanding the capabilities and qualifications of interested small business concerns, including woman and minority-owned small businesses, and services-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB). Interested vendors are requested to provide a written response to this notice which shall be limited to three pages. The response should include the following: 1. Vendor's name and address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address; 2. Vendor's small business size status, including whether the vendor is a woman-owned, minority-owned, hubzone or SDVOSB; 3. Whether the vendor is interested in working as a prime contractor or a subcontractor, or anticipates significant teaming arrangements; 4. A description of the vendor's capabilities to meet some or all of the required services; and 5. A recommendation for how to structure a program to meet the needs identified above. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561110. The small business size standard, based upon the NAICS code, is $7,000,000. Interested prospective offerors shall respond to this sources sought notice no later than November 30, 2009.
