- PR No: IQC09300009039; This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for a Spill Containment Unit. This solicitation is for award of an indefinite quantity contract with a base year with four one-year options. The NSN with Minimum and Maximum quantities are as follows: NSN: 4235-01-505-1709 Approved Polymer & Steel Technologies, CAGE 0N5W4, Part Number: 5650-XX/BX SMALL D Basic Concepts, Inc., CAGE 0V4E7, Part Number: DB-21 Argonaut Inflatable Research, CAGE 1MDS4, Part Number: 940-023000 Bowhead Environmental & Safety, LLC, CAGE 4MS69, Part Number: B-1400-DP Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (base Year Only): 54 each Minimum per delivery order: 54 each Maximum per delivery order: 216 each Estimated Annual Quantity: 216 each Maximum Annual Quantity: 432 each Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Destination, 75 days ARO. Surge requirements do not apply. This will be a 8(a) small business set aside to Northwest Hazmat, CAGE 1Q3M9. Other than full and open competition after exclusion of sources applies. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about December 10, 2009. The anticipated award date is February 28, 2010. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
