- This is a special notice to Sole Source for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this special notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ** Please respond within 10 days of posting: 04 Dec 2009 ** This is a special notice of intent to award sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12.203 and FAR Part 13.5 with consideration given to FAR Part 5.202(a)(13) as supplemented to Extendo Bed Company, Inc. to provide following for below items: 1)-P/N PRC6999-BBS-HTB JEM Urban 2mm immersible radio, US Type 1 COMSEC encryption, includes SINCGARS, HAVEQUICK and ANDVT waveforms. Includes one each 30-90 MHz blade antenna, 90-512 MHz whip antenna, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, Accessory Bag, Operators Manual and Quick Reference Guide. 5 yr warranty on transceiver, 1 yr warranty on other items. 2)-P/N 85317 Headset downlead assembly Side Connector- Replacement lower cable assy radio side connector to PTT Switch with U-94 A/U Connector for use with Thales Urban Tactical Headset, PN 1600540-1 3)-P/N MA6943 Vehicle Adapter, AN/PRC-148 4)-P/N 1600599-1 Tactical External Speaker, VA 5)-P/N 1600623-4 VA Speaker Cable, 10 ft The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334220 and the size standard for this NAICS code is 750 employees. These items will be provided to and delivered to Tulsa Air National Guard, Oklahoma (ZIP code 74115). The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers.
