Description
RECOVERY-(ARRA) PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. A COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT OPEN TO OTHER SOURCES. THE US FISH & WILDLIFE REGION 6, LAKEWOOD, CO. INTENDS TO NEGOTIATE ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS WITH MOON LAKE ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION, 188 WEST 2ND NORTH, ROOSEVELT, UT 84066 TO PURCHASE ELECTRICAL POWER AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE PUMPING STATIONS AT BROWNS PARK NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, CO. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION OR A FORMAL SOLICITATION. BASED ON THE RESTRICTIONS OF THE REQUIREMENT, AND UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.3 THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH THE ONLY KNOWN PUBLIC UTILITY PROVIDER IN THE AREA. THE ACQUISITION WILL FALL UNDER NAICS 22112 ELECTRICAL POWER TRANSMISSION, CONTROL, and DISTRIBUTION. This project includes providing all materials, equipment, necessary to install complete electrical distribution infrastructure, including but not limited to, all required transformers and meters, in order to provide associated electrical power to the Warren, Grimes, and Butch Cassidy Pump sites located at Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge, Moffat County, CO GENERAL INFORMATION American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds will be utilized for this project. ARRA clauses will be incorporated in to the resultant contract award. It is anticipated that a FIRM FIXED Price contract will be awarded. The estimated magnitude of the proposed contract is $100,000 - $250,000. THE AWARDEE WILL BE SUBJECT TO SECTION 1512(c) OF THE RECOVERY ACT WHICH REQUIRES EACH CONTRACTOR TO REPORT ON ITS USE OF RECOVERY FUNDSUNDER THE AWARDED CONTRACT.ALL OF THESE REPORTS WILL BE MADEAVAIALBALE TO THE PUBLIC.PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE GOVERNMENT REQUESTING THE SOLICITATION.
